Lila Williams to Speak at Human Resources Symposium on Workplace Flexibility
REDMOND, WA (February 10, 2017) – Lila Williams, Director of Business Administration for Evia, will be addressing a group at the Lake Washington Human Resources Association Symposium on Tuesday, February 14th at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue, WA. Lila will be conducting a lab on the topic of Workplace Flexibility, Her session will be recorded and will be available on demand on the Evia Cloud platform.
Workplace Flexibility is a very important initiative at Evia, one that is personal. According to Lila, "During the 10 years I have been with Evia, I've had two daughters, and it's sometimes difficult to balance my work life and home life. This struggle is not unique to me or just to employees with families, so as a company, we have tried to break the mold of the traditional 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday mentality and see if we could create a culture where employees could be successful while also having a more balanced life."
During her session, Lila will discuss the benefits her company has realized from providing a flexible workplace, from increased productivity to enhanced employee morale. She will talk about some of the elements of Evia's program and will introduce some new ideas for the future.
